As Skype is no more, our chat system now supports Microsoft Teams. To use, just enter and save your Microsoft Teams email address in the chat options field. Then it's just a single click on Microsoft Teams icon to open Teams and start a video call etc!

So if the NPC was created by wearing an outfit and then using a 'create NPC' tool, just re-wear outfit along with the item "SF NPC Listener (npc must wear)" which can be found in the NPC Farmer rez pillar. If not, you may be able to edit the NPC configuration by adding the following in the

Ah yes, just re-reading the question and I believe the issue is that the newly added NPC's don't work. If that is so, it probably is because when you create a new NPC it must be wearing the item called "SF NPC Listener (npc must wear)"

You should check to makle sure that the group the NPC rezzer is set to is the same as the group the parcel is set to. If different that will cause the NPC farmer to just stand still.

Okay, so I have figured it out. When you click to add something, the current script searches for all scripted objects within range, and currently by default that is actually set to 16 (not 32 as I had thought - seems Second Life only just updated to that)
But anyway the issue is that if you have any scripted objects near those will all be counted even if they are not products or not even things that start with "SF "
Unfortunately you can use 'wildcards' in the sensor (such as search for anything starting with "SF") so it's a limitation of the system.
What I will try is to add an option so you can select to have the storage work only scan for items it contains. This should work fine if you just have a few things but may not work well over a certain amount. This will definitely start off as a beta thing!

Please do, either in the Learning area or the Workshop area in Mintor would be good.i will leave a scarecrow @ your place if you like so you can see for your self.....
Interesting to hear that people are finding this same issue with distance. The scripting is all pretty basic in that it just uses the standard sensor and uses a sphere as scanning type so is not dependant on the orientation of the object.
Another (albeit obscure!) thing to check if you can is in the OpenSim.ini file for the region. There are settings in there to change how the sensor works and it may be they have got changed from their defult values:

The only things I can think of why it doesn't scan for the range you set are:
(1) The scan will find the closest items that start with "SF " up to a maximum of 32 so if you have lots of objects called "SF something" close by that could be the issue. You can test by putting the scarecrow in an empty place and then try.
(2) The scan will only find objects that are in the same region, so if on the edge, for instance, it won't see anything in the next region even if really close.

Not sure why you are seeing this - I checked the code and it does use the value you set in the config notecard when it scans. I tested and found it does follow that settings, at least in my testing....[img][/img]all so i have found that the SENSOR_DISTANCE=96 in the Notecard will only search around 15 meters, even if you set it to 96 maybe that's a job for Buzzy to fix.
