I've heard back from the guy who runs our grid: "Hi, so yes, the Satyr Farm animals seems to be scripted wrongly according to Andy. In the simulator console that governs the region they (the animals) are constantly throwing red errors (bad) related to storage in the database and so this is probably why they keep disappearing. Frankly, I don't know exactly what is wrong with them."
I've been searching everywhere and can't find any other mention of this bug. Are others having the same problems? Are the Satyr scripters aware of an issue? I've also just tried the rezzer in SatyrFarm Package v.2018.11.31 with same problem. Does it also happen when animals have a baby or only when rezzing them from the box/hud? This is a game breaker for me as our grid reboots at least once or twice a week and so far we have not been able to keep any animals

The number 1585340087 (in that example) is the birth time, so actually decreasing that number by 86400 and then resetting the scripts will make it one day older

I rezzed out a few animals and changed that number so they were all showing 10 days old and restarted the region, and they still all go poof. I tried this on both my main farm sim running 0.9.1.1 and a test sim my gridmaster set up running 0.9.0.1.
I started a bug report here: github.com/SatyrFarm/SatyrFarm/issues/16 , hopefully it can be looked into. I also pasted the region console error report my gridmaster gave me showing the specific error.

try using backup on the console of the region before you restart the region this will trigger a save of pending updates to the persistent store
the bigger the farm the longer it takes for the command to run

This turned out to be using the male and female symbols on the float text as some configurations of the database won't work with unicode. The latest version of both Quintonia and the SatyrFarm original have since been updated not to use those now.
Still a useful tip to make sure things get pushed to the server especially if you have spent the day creating things!
